Details of fees will be confirmed once accommodation has been secured however we aim for the entry fee to be approximately £600 (£700 for the 4 day ride).

Cancellation

If for whatever reason the event is cancelled by the organisers, then the balance of your fees will be refunded (minus the non-refundable £100 deposit). If for whatever reason you as a participant have a need to cancel, then, after commitment deductions from the hotel/travel costs, the balance of your fees will be rolled forward towards the next international event planned in 2025 by the Ride for Hope committee.

Supplements - Ride for Hope 3- or 4-Day Challenge London/Northampton to Paris 2024

As we are a charity and the event is a fundraising event, the challenge fee covers the costs only; we are not taking any percentage or amount for the Hope Centre. Any fundraising is coming from your sponsorship pledge. The cost will cover transport from Northampton for you, your bags and bike (3-day cyclists), overnight accommodation at the Travel Lodge Richmond London Central (4-day cyclists), ferry crossing to Caen, overnight accommodation in Le Neubourg, overnight accommodation in Paris and coach and ferry travel back to Northampton. It is anticipated that most dinners and lunches are included, no drinks are included. Your bags will be transported for you. For those using an electric bike, a spare battery must be taken by the rider.

Brittany Ferries to Caen (based on 2 people sharing a cabin).

Hotel 1 - Hotel Acadine Le Neubourg Pont Ademeur

In Le Neubourge we will stay in the Hotel Acadine Le Neubourg Pont Ademeur and all rooms are twin occupancy. If you would like your own room, if availability allows, the additional cost is 45 euros extra for single occupancy of a double room or 50 euros extra for single occupancy of a twin room, on top of the original challenge cost.

I would like single occupancy of a double room (dependent upon availability) at a total additional supplement cost of 45 euros extra for the overnight stay in Le Neubourge.

I would like single occupancy of a twin room (dependent upon availability) at a total additional supplement cost of 50 euros extra for the overnight stay in Le Neubourge.

Hotel 2 - Hotel Campanile Paris Sud

In Paris we will stay at the Hotel Campanile Paris Sud and all rooms are twin occupancy. If you would like your own room, there will be an additional charge of 60 euros extra on top of the original challenge cost.

I would like single occupancy of a double/twin room (dependent upon availability) at a total additional supplement cost of 60 euros extra for the overnight stay in Paris.

I agree to abide by Terms & Conditions of the Ride for Hope event for non-competitive cycling, and understand and agree that I participate in this event entirely at my own risk, that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards, and that I must ride in a manner which is safe to myself and others. I am aware that when riding on a public highway the function of marshals or group leaders is only to indicate direction and that I must decide whether the movement is safe. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall attach to the promoter, charity, event sponsor or any event official or member of the Ride For Hope organising team in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me in or by reason of the event however caused. I will participate in cycling events in a loyal and sporting manner. I will submit to disciplinary measures taken against me and will take any appeals and litigation to the Event Manger provided for in the Terms & Conditions. Subject to that reservation, I shall submit to any dispute that may arise exclusively to the Ride For Hope Committee. Waiver of Liability: I have read, understood and agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions and the declarations listed in this form, and am entering the event at my own risk.
